Yes, especially when used accordingly. Insecticide usage has several restrictions, and when followed, there is no harm to you or your family (including furry friends). Insecticides have changed a lot over the years, and all of the information to support this is documented in the MSDS & Labels which can be found on our page. If you would like to have a more in-depth conversation about this, contact us anyway that is most convenient for you.
Through personal research powered by care. The labels (which are the law) protect you, your family, and your pets; however, they don't necessarily protect the bees that pollinate 1/3 of our food. Fortunately, we have done the research for you. We pay special attention to flowers that may be in the area of treatment. Our mosquito & tick services are insecticide free. While they aren't 100% risk-free to the bees, we make sure we get up early or work late to avoid accidentally contaminating any daytime foragers. The residual effects of our mosquito & tick treatments does not bother adult bees.
Quite a bit actually. In summary, a wasp or hornet do not pollinate (although, universities have found that some hornets pollinate in late season, but not enough to warrant their benefit). Wasps are generally more docile than hornets, but both will attack when a threat, aka you, are nearby. In the fall, hornets become extremely aggressive and will attack based off of proximity. Bees are extremely docile, and only sting when they feel their lives, or queens life, are at stake.
Let's start with a rodent inspection to see if you only need exclusion work before you pay for rodent equipment. Additionally, this is due to the complications of our scheduling in our software. Don't sweat it, just contact us and we'll do the rest.
